    Rated 3 out of 5 by from Had major problems I had a shop install the converter. The transmission shifted fine on initial test drive start up. When starting the second time the car would not shift over two gears, I have a 700R4 transmission. Detent cable and pressures were checked at two other shops and found to be correct, but still would not shift right. I had to have my transmission rebuilt at a cost of $1300. The transmission had just been rebuilt at a cost of $1200 a year and a half ago. My thoughts were there had to be some debris in the converter that plugged up the valve body and ruined my transmission.
