Includes: pump cover, diaphragm, lever w/adjustment screw, pivot, 2 cams, spring and all hardware. Fits all Holley® style carburetors. May require use of 1/4" minimum carb to intake manifold spacer (sold separately) depending on intake runner design. For use with Gasoline Only. .

I've been using this ancient Holley R-1848 for more than 40 years, gradually upgrading it, step by step into a modern carburetor; center hung float bowls, secondary metering block, any number of jet changes, a progression of pump squirters, experimenting with the variety of Holley pump cams, each change intended to exact a bit more performance from a relatively small carb (original rating was 465cfm). I am now at a 0.0135 squirter, trying to eliminate that elusive flat spot off idle (caused, I am pretty sure by me installing a too aggressive cam coupled with large port Aluminum heads on a 5.0 Ford). Finally decided to try this large pump, intended for a much larger car. The kit is nice; complete and attractive, although a graph showing the pump curves would be nice. Fit is perfect and the selection of the pump cam was actually pretty obvious when test fitting. complete pump swap took about 5 minutes, less than pulling and reinstalling the carb. Flat spot gone! Sorry I didn't take any pictures.
