Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Distributor Three years ago we put a hopped up 360 in my 73 charger… And it never seem like it was quite all there… This distributor along with new plugs and wires made my car really come alive!! This distributor was it excellent purchase, and I recommend it for all Mopars

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Seems like a good distributor Fit and finish is excellent. The true test will be mileage. So far I only have break-in time on this distributor but it's running great out of the box.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Quality Unit Bought this as a less expensive alternative to an MP billit unit as the Proform unit I purchased broke up badly starting at 3,000 RPM. This unit performed well and picked up~10 HP over a stock unit on the dyno on my Mopar 392 Poly Stroker

Rated 3 out of 5 by from should've bought higher end first inspection revealed the reluctor actually hitting the pick up. apparently, factory assembled with no gap between the two parts. further inspection revealed the bracket that holds the pick up is not bent properly, and the pick up sits at slight angle, not perfectly parallel, to the reluctor. when gapped to specs, there is more space between the top of the pick up and the reluctor, than at bottom. also, the reluctor is not perfectly formed. during manual rotation, a few of the reluctor "arms" actually come closer to the pick up than others, so i have a varying gap. quality control not so good........however, with the blaster 2 coil, and the 6AL box, spark seems to be bridging the gap, for now.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Tragic flaw sinks otherwise fine distributor I bought this because it looked like a good unit and the price was right. It Installed easily and ran fine. First time I went to remove the cap, one of the spring-steel hold down clamps broke right at the twisted end. No sweat (I thought) it's a JEGs brand. they'll have me another hold down in no time. Not the case. Somehow, they don't carry that part. What? They said they'll try to scare one up, but if not I have to send the whole thing back and wait for a replacement. I need my car. I figured, "I know I'll take one (a hold down) off of this MSD Billet distributor I have on another (different type) motor". Nope. MSD uses a different, vastly superior way of holding on the cap. This JEGs unit just kind of resembles those higher quality ones. If the simple hold-downs can't be trusted, I have little faith in the interior workings spinning around at thousands of RPM. JEGs may find the part so I can fix it, but I can't recommend somebody else buying one of these. You get what you pay for, I suppose.
