Engine Stands are Great for Working on Engines!

An engine stand provides the flexibility to rotate the block to any position for lower and top end engine reassembly with just the turn of a handle. JEGS Engine Stands have an adjustable mounting head that secures the rear of the engine to the stand and a 360° head that allows easy rotation of the engine. Heavy-gauge square steel tube frame disassembles effortlessly for storage or transport, and ball-bearing casters allow smooth maneuvering. Uses Engine Stand Bolt Kit #555-80043.

JEGS EZ Kits are designed by JEGS professionals to ensure that you get all the correct parts you need.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice Stand Nice Stand, went together well and seems to be handling a BBC just fine. Only complaint is it's a bit sticky to rotate the engine. This is because of the angled neck on the upright, it lets the neck inner tube work it's way back into the outer tube and the weld starts to bind a little. I think that I will add a spacer to keep it from moving back, that should cure it. Then again, maybe a bit of grease on the tube will do it too. Bottom line, money well spent, I like it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Overall great engine stand I am very happy with the quality of the engine stand. While it cost more you get more weight bearing capacity and a more sturdy design then some of the cheaper engine stands. If I could change something I would grind off all of the black paint on the piece that bolts up to the engine as where it slides into the actual stand the paint makes it very difficult to rotate the engine. No big deal though. I'll sand the paint off and am completely happy.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Engine Stand This stand is built a little heavier and is less tip resistant than the 3 wheel type. If I had to do it over I would buy the 3 wheel type instead of this one. When transferring the engine from a cherry picker to the stand the wide leg stance gets in the way due to interference between the two tools. It met my expectations just did not think about the transfer of the engine to the stand.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice and strong hope you are not tall. This is a nice stand. It's long so it can take a lot of overhang and it's a bit narrower than most but That's OK. The hardware is inferior but I just replaced all the caster nuts/bolts with grade 8.8 and nyloks. The stand is very short. Easy enough to extend with a welder or use it seated. I bought two and modified them, that gave me free shipping.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not very sturdy Could not install flexplate of Chevy 5.7L while mounted on this stand. Standoffs need to be a little longer. Tilts with little effort. Extremely hard to rotate engine, even with the heads removed.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good for the Price I bought this to put a LS engine on so I can strip it down and get it ready to put in my 63 Chevy. It's not bad. It's a little shaky with everything on the engine, but works fine.
