SXL type abrasion resistant irradiated cross-linked polyethylene jacket is designed for use in engine compartments. More heat resistant, tougher and more fluid resistant than general purpose PVC insulated wire. Temperature rated at 257 deg. F (125 deg.C) vs. 215 deg.F (105 deg.C) for general purpose wire. That's a 20% gain. Available in 50' rolls of 16GA or 14GA and 25' rolls of 10GA or 8GA wire. Made In USA.
