    What pressure does this pump run when dead headed.

    Will this pump lift fuel up 12” out of the tank and then pretty much level to the motor ?

    This is a self priming fuel pump. The tank on my sailboat pulls from the top via suction. Will this pump work okay this design? It does have fuel filter in line above the pump that will keep fuel in the line once it gets there.

    Jegs 555-159070 is a gravity fed fuel pump while it will pull fuel to it it will shorten its life
