501-AOD - LPW High Performance Cast Aluminum Transmission Pans is rated 5.0 out of 5 by 5.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very heavy built pan. Nice casting. A nice finned aluminum pan that adds extra oil capacity, and for a reasonable price when compared to most other brands. It also has a thicker area in the casting on the drivers side rear corner that looks like it was meant to drill and tap for a temperature gauge sending unit. Exactly what I did on my pan. It drilled/tapped easily and was more than thick enough to create plenty of threads. I wouldn't hesitate to purchase again if needed! A tight fit in my 87 Ranger 302/AOD swap but it does fit. One crossmember bolt had to be shortened/clearanced but that's it. Be aware, the mounting flange is much thicker than factory pans, but it comes with new bolts that are longer. I added a Moroso silicone gasket for a leak-free, winning combo! If using with a Lokar cable controlled auto shifter like I did, small modifications will have to be made to your Lokar components and two longer bolts will have to be sourced.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Increasing capacity for towing Also wanted a drain plug for easy future maintenance. Installed easy, had the functional features I wanted and looks nice too. Appears well made and wasn't the highest priced Ford pan out there. Don't see any down side to this pan.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great fitment. Trans runs cooler I put this on a hotrod I built. It has a 4r75e in it and it fit perfectly. Nice construction. I will buy again in the future if the need arises.
