MSD Ignition 84022 - MSD HEI Cap/Coil Dust Cover Details
With the introduction of their 20 Amp Extreme HEI Module, MSD needed an HEI Cap and Rotor that could withstand the high output. The answer was to mold their own HEI Cap, Rotor and Coil Cover. When it came to the coil cover, MSD decided to do away with the clip-on wire retainer and build that into the coil cover. This makes for a very appealing cover/retainer package. Application:
MSD makes HEI Dust Covers that are designed to be installed on stock HEI distributor caps with no modification. There is a stock replacement, extreme and one designed to remote mount a coil. So depending on what you project requires, MSD has the cover you need.
