A stock location sump pan designed for use in AMX, Javelin, Hornet and all AMC chassis where maximum ground clearance is required without sacrificing performance. Road Race design sump increases capacity and is shallower than stock to allow maximum ground clearance. Five highly effective trap doors plus two baffles provide 100% oil control. This results in consistent oil pressure under heavy acceleration and in & out of the corners, as well as increases power output. Has 1/2" pipe fitting for an oil temp sender. Stock steering will not interfere with this pan. External Pickup Version 697-31680 -Pickup line exists away from headers unlike some other manufacturers. The in-pan portion of the pickup is removable for inspection and cleaning. A full 12AN line size is available from the pickup entyrance all the way to the oil pump bypassing restrictive internal passages. This system should be adequate for use over 7000 RPM. Requires pickup system 697-24055.
