For instance, recent testing indicated to us that by switching our aramid fiber wire core to a Kevlar core, we could increase the tensile strength of our wire by 4X while using less material. Since the new core is smaller in diameter we were able to increase the size of the EPDM Layer to provide additional dielectric strength. We've also added a strategically wound, 304 stainless steel alloy conductor to deliver even high levels of spark energy.
