    Bleed Brakes Like the Pros!
The Motive Products Brake POWER BLEEDER™ is the number 1 selling DIY pressure brake bleeder. The POWER BLEEDER™ operates just like the professional mechanics' tool -- at a fraction of the price.
Now you can bleed hydraulic braking and clutch systems like the pros.

  • Easy one-person operation means you won't need to ask a helper to pump the pedal while you open and close the bleed valves.
  • Corrosion-proof design for years of maintenance free service.
  • Motive POWER BLEEDER™ hand pump works anywhere - great for the home, shop, or track.

    Application Guide

  • 0100 - Motive Products Brake Power Bleeders and Accessories is rated 4.3 out of 5 by 3.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works Great with Limitations Bought the "red label" Motive Power Bleeder a month ago. Positives: 1) easy to bleed brakes; 2) reduces chance of introducing bubbles at the bleeder valve compared to vacuum-type bleed systems; 3) good quality; 4) easy cleaning of equipment. Negatives: 1) requires separate reservoir adapters at $20+ for each non-European car; 2) coupling connector does not swivel, so the entire supply container needs to be flipped multiple times to make that final connection; 3) max head pressure limited to roughly 10 psi on my car (VW Jetta) to protect reservoir seals; 4) wasted brake fluid after each operation since the large supply container is filled without knowing the amount of brake fluid that will be used to complete the bleed job -- excess must be dumped (can't be stored in the supply container); 5) denatured alcohol recommended for cleaning the equipment is expensive (costs as much as the brake fluid)

Rated 4 out of 5 by from No more pumping or worrying about air bubbles. This bleeder works as advertised, the only thing is that even at 15psi the brake fluid is fairly slow to flow out of the caliper, even with the valve opened a full turn or two. The good news is that there is no chance of air bubbles or air making it back into the brake system, so while each caliper takes up to 10 minutes to bleed, it's worth the time spent to be certain that you have done a most thorough job of flushing/bleeding your brakes. An improvement (and something I did on my tank) would be to put measurement lines on the side of the tank to see how much fluid you have and how much you are using per caliper. This worked on both a 2nd gen mazdaspeed3 and '87 RX-7, although with the rx7, the reservoir cap design lets some air through so you have to REALLY tighten it. The problem is that once tightened, the cap is REALLY hard to unscrew, it feels like you may rip off the reservoir. just be patient and have someone hold the reservoir while you unscrew the cap (as the cap unscrewing requires two hands sometimes).

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Brake drag gone, race won. I had a slight brake drag prior to using the pressure bleeder. The vacuum and manual pedal bleed were not perfect. There was still a slight amount of air somewhere. After the pressure bleed, I won my road course race with an extremely competitive field.
