    Percy's Seal-4-Good Reusable Flange Gaskets are multi-layered and made from a special "Dead Soft" aluminum that conforms to header flanges for the ultimate seal. Because made from multiple layers of dead soft metal, Seal-4-Good easily conforms to small imperfections that copper gaskets simply can't, and these gaskets will not blow out or burn out when properly installed.

    Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect Fit, Great Seal Purchased these to replace a blown header gasket on my 1995 Ford F150, 302cid (5.0L), 5spd, with Pacesetter Headers 72C2222. The old gasket was one of those cheap paper type jobs; however, it blew out because I failed to re-torque the bolts after installation. With one of these gaskets though (Percy's), I most likely would have been able to re-torque the bolts using the same gasket and get a good seal. The problem was the old gasket was brittle and part of it was missing where the blowout happened. Since just the passenger side gasket was blown so I only replaced it, for now. The Percy's gasket fit perfectly. I installed it myself using the appropriate size wrench for the header bolts and a screwdriver to scrape away the old gasket material. I did not have to remove the header for installation, fortunately. I just dropped the new gasket into place, tightened down the bolts, ran the engine for about 20 minutes, then re-torqued all bolts. I then drove the vehicle 140 miles non-stop and re-torqued all bolts again. Nearly all of them turned a half turn or more. I drove another 140 miles non-stop (return trip) and re-torqued all bolts. This time some bolts didn't turn but at least 3 bolts turned a small amount (1/4-1/2 turn). I then drove the vehicle 400 miles (200 one way, 200 back), did not re-torque any bolts, and the gasket is still holding strong.
