    Metering Blocks

  • Stainless steel idle mixture screw with a superior nylon seal that won't deteriorate over time like cork
  • Machined internal passages (vs. die-cast cored holes) ensure consistent performance and almost no chance of porosity holes cross-talking between passages
  • 4-corner idle system for fine-tuning even with extremely long duration camshafts

    Throttle Body
  • CNC-machined from solid aluminum for a more stable platform than die-cast equivalent
  • Teflon-coated throttle shafts with Teflon ribbon bearings reduce rotational resistance and nearly eliminate the use of the throttle body shaft hole as a bushing (great protection in dirt environments)
  • Mechanical secondary carbs have the Quick Link Secondary Opening System that enables rate adjustment simply by changing links (available opening rates: 40%, 60%, 1:1)
  • Mechanical secondary carbs also have adjustable secondary airflow cam brackets that allow better idle tuning with race-oriented camshaft profiles

    Rated 5 out of 5 by from Worth it! I have been using this carburetor for a couple of months and have had no disappointments. This carburetor is a replacement for a Holley 750. I'm using it on a well prepared 408 BBC. It needed slightly different jets to tune it and your normal set up procedures which is extremely easy to do with this carb. While changing the jets I noticed the machined surfaces were finished well WITHOUT a bunch of sharp edges or loose metal shavings everywhere. The throttle response is very crisp and has no hesitations what so ever. The engine now has consistent idle quality even with only 8 in hg vacuum. The engine now pulls extremely well. My 31X16X15 M/T tires won't hold now. It's like night and day difference.
