    NS-400 is rated 2.5 out of 5 by 2.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Ron Francis Neutral Safety switch to fit a TH400 The instructions are misleading. You are instructed to NOT move the switch before installing as it is set to the neutral position. Mine was in the Park position. It took a lot of force to rotate the switch to any position. You are told that the pan or tranny may take a little grinding for installing the mounting bolts. It took a lot of grinding on the (TH400) casting and I still had to jam the bolt on the casting because a socket wouldn't fit. Also had to grind the switch mounting plate to fit over the pan mounting holes. The connecting rod to the gear selector shaft was about 1/2 inch out of alignment (left to right) on my installation. In an attempt to bend the rod I broke it (my bad). Replaced the rod with 2 1/4-28 Heim rod-ends and a 1/4-28 rod. Now there is enough adjustment to make it work.
