Single Inlet Plenum
Spectre Air Intake Kits are available for a number of applications and are designed to fit your classic muscle car. Manufactured from high quality polished aluminum, the plenum fits carburetors and TBI throttle bodies with a 5-1/8 inch inlet. The air intake tube is Spectre part 97496, which makes a 45 degree and a 90 degree bend and can be installed in either direction giving you two different options for an air filter to be positioned on the passenger-side of your engine bay. The air filter is not included but the air intake tube has a 4 inch outside diameter which accommodates any air filter that clamps onto a 4 inch tube. Always check for proper clearance between the neck of the carburetor/TBI and the bottom of the hood before closing the hood. 2 worm gear clamps and a coupler are included to complete installation.
