Speedtech 30710 Features:
There are several ways this brace kit gets you set up right- laser cut 1/8″ thick side plates box the flimsy C channel frame rails for a stiffer complete rail. CNC bent 1 1/2″ .156 wall tubing ties the front frame section to the rear. Support braces tie directly to the rear lower trailing arm mounts to eliminate suspension arm flex. Our heavy-duty Transmission crossover is fully adjustable for most any engine/ trans combo and allows the center section to be unbolted for easy transmission servicing. To tie the body to the frame this brace kit bolts to the floor in four positions to further strengthen the entire assembly.
Speedtech 30710 Notes:
- This kit is shipped unassembled so that you can create the perfect fit for your specific car. Welding skills are required for installation. Outside of drilling four small holes, there are no required modifications to the factory floor pan
- This kit is designed for a typical 2-door A body. Because of differences in floor pans, our kits will not fit 68-72 EL Caminos and Station Wagons
Specifications:
Will this work on a 70 convertible frame?
Will this kit fit a 68 Buick sport wagon based on the A body ?
Will this fit a 72 SS Chevelle with a 427 motor?
Will this fit a 69 El Camino? I know it's also a GM A-Body but the frame slightly longer than it's cousins.
Would this kit fit a 1970 to 1972 Monte Carlo, being as it is also an A body?
