GM Powerglide
Dirt Track
- Must be raced in high gear
- Hobby Stocks
- Full Manual Shifting
- Cast Aluminum Pan
The Circlematic Transmission and FastLap Torque Converter could be the perfect solution to improve throttle response and acceleration. Due to a significant increase in efficiency, this combination also reduces engine speed by 300-400 RPM for better temperature control.
Best of all, it provides maximum engine braking to help slow the car down going into the corner, making it perfect for stock cars and trucks that are limited on allowable rear end gearing. For classes that mandate the use of GM Powerglide and TH350 transmissions, there is no better choice for asphalt or dirt racing competition. As with every TCI transmission or converter, these units are triple tested (including a complete dyno certification of the transmission) and rigorously inspected to provide unmatched performance and race-after-race durability.
Features
- Specially-matched transmission and torque converter packages provide instant throttle response and superior engine braking capabilities
- Clutch doesn't require adjustment before each race
- Torque converters reduce slippage by up to 10% for off-the-corner acceleration improvements
- Lap times can be reduced by one to two-tenths of a second
Note: Speedometer drive gear and driven gear not included.
