    Rated 5 out of 5 by from High quality spacers! I bought 2 sets of the TG Spacers for my '78 CJ5. A 1.25" set for the front and a 1.50" set for the rear. I had purchased a set of Renegade wheels that ended up being for a pre-'78 CJ with drum front brakes. Mine has disc front brakes so their was a clearance issue on the front. These TG Spacers were the fix! I had read a lot of negative comments regarding the use of spacers, but when I talked to people who had ran them, some for years, I decided to give them a try. Glad I did for a couple reasons: 1) I get to run the vintage Renegade wheels that to me are the best looking wheel to ever be put on an older CJ! 2) My Jeep is a '78 that has the narrow track axles. The spacers pushed the wheels/tires out to near the edge of the fender flares, which to me just looks better. I would highly recommend these Trail Gear Spacers! DON'T GO CHEAP!!! Spend the money and get quality spacers with quality studs and nuts! Make certain you follow the instructions to the letter. USE RED LOC-TITE, some companies provide this with their spacers, TG doesn't, and make sure that you use a torque wrench when you install them! NO AIR IMPACT or TORQUE STICKS! Do it right and you won't have any issues. I would have given these TG Spacers "5 Stars" in all categories if they had included the thread locker in the kit. These aren't the most expensive spacers out there but for the cost thread locker should come with them. After all, they do hold your wheels on. Just sayin'.
