The Chevrolet Performance ZZ502 Partial engine is designed for those who need the max, the 502ci Gen VI Chevrolet big-block with roller camshaft. The pistons, rods and crankshaft are the same as Gen V. This engine features a standard deck height block with four-bolt main bearing caps, a 4.00" stroke forged steel crankshaft and 4.47" diameter forged pistons. The compression ratio is a reasonable 8.75:1 when used with 118cc chambers cast iron heads, or 9.6:1 with 110cc chamber aluminum heads. It has 4340 steel connection rods with 7/16 rod bolts. This partial includes block, crankshaft, pistons, flex plate, damper, oil pump, oil pan, front cover and steel hydraulic roller camshaft with lifters!
