CV Shafts are designed for optimum strength and performance. They incorporate ''Rzeppa''-style (Alfred H. Rzeppa, Dana engineer, 1920) outboard joints that are 30% stronger than stock joints, as well as a 4340-chromemoly outer joint stub. The shafts center tube is also 30% thicker than standard tubes, and is manufactured from high-tensile steel. Thick, rugged yellow boots are loaded with high-temperature, high-pressure synthetic grease to protect and lubricate the CV Joints. All pertinent shafts include an ABS (anti-lock brake system) ring to ensure the system remains functional on ABS-equipped vehicles. Each CV Shaft has a rating of 300 HP.
