This ignition coil is designed to be used with original GM coil-in-cap HEI systems, as well as aftermarket ignition systems. It is capable of 38% more voltage output than OE! Compatible with distributors that have red and yellow primary wires. Simple installation--no need to remove the distributor from the engine.
