The JEGS "bolt-on" oil pump pick-up retainer is inexpensive engine insurance designed to eliminate the possibility of separation between the oil pump and the pick-up tube due to vibration or improper installation. No pick-up tube means no oil pressure and serious engine damage! This product is a must have item with every engine rebuild. Fits stock type oil pumps and pickup assemblies with coined tubes.
