These specially-designed starter motors with heavy-duty features for V8 applications need no adapters. Weighing approximately 7 lbs. complete, these units are lighter than the previous Mopar Performance lightweight starter, half the weight of the original 1960s-70s vintage production starter, and one inch shorter. May require header/exhaust/block modifications on some applications.
