What Are Richmond 4-Speed Super T-10 Transmissions Common Pros and Cons?
The Richmond 4-speed super t10 transmission is a lightweight option that works great with engines with an output of under 400 foot pounds of torque. However, the super T-10 4-speed transmission doesn't have an overdrive gear, so engine RPMs will tend to be higher as vehicle speed increases compared to a five or 6-speed transmission with higher (numerically lower) ratios.
Which Richmond 4-Speed Super T-10 Transmission Is Best?
The best Super T10 transmission depends on the application it will be used with. The first is whether it is fitting a GM or Ford engine. Next, the transmission has to be strong enough to handle the torque of the engine, making it important to choose the transmission that matches engine power. Finally, the gear ratios can be selected, which is based on tire diameter and rear end gear ratio for optimum performance.
How Much Do Richmond 4-Speed Super T-10 Transmissions Cost?
Super T10 transmission options range in price between $2,000 and $2,300, depending on application, gear ratios, and options.
