Speedway Heat Shield driving shoes are designed to defeat heat transfer in the cockpit from the pedals and floor. The shoe is engineered with an efficient heat transfer exchange system built into the construction. Simpson uses heat-reflecting aluminized Kevlar shielding, heat-absorbing foam, and Type R-IV polyurethane heat defeater soles featuring a "posi-grip" pattern for sure-footed cool pedal control.
