Power Plates make power two ways. They're engineered with a slight peak on the leading edge of entry into the intake manifold to increase the speed of air entering the manifold, which raises internal pressure to create additional horsepower and torque at lower RPM. The Power Plate also acts as a throttle body spacer to increase the volume of air inside the manifold for even more power.
