Taylor Aluminum Battery Boxes are ideal for street rods, customs, and race applications where space is limited. They are made from .040" aluminum, and lids have an embossed Taylor logo. Taylor offers three box types to compensate for size and brand of battery application. All boxes include battery hold-downs and mounting hardware to complete your installation.

100 Series
  • Dimensions: 13.5" L x 9.5" W x 10" H
  • Complies with NHRA Rule 8:1
  • Required by NHRA when there is no firewall between driver's compartment and battery
  • Fits most battery sizes
  • 3-piece box design allows access without removing battery from box
  • Hard mounts battery to the frame with supplied 3/8" bolts
  • Heavy-duty 1-piece welded battery hold-down and mounting hardware included

    200 Series
  • Dimensions: 11.25" L x 9.5" W x 8.75" H
  • Complies with NHRA Rule 8:1
  • Fits Odyssey PC1500 Series, Optima® Redtop and Yellowtop, and most Group 34/78 and 75/25 batteries
  • Includes chrome acorn nuts to mount lid for a custom finish
  • 3-piece box design allows access without removing battery from box
  • Hard mounts battery to the frame with supplied 3/8" bolts
  • Heavy-duty 1-piece welded battery hold-down with spacers to accommodate different widths

    300 Series
  • Dimensions: 9.5" L x 8.25" W x 7.75" H
  • Not applicable with NHRA Rule 8:1
  • Fits Odyssey PC925 and PC1200 Series batteries
  • Includes chrome acorn nuts to mount lid for a custom finish
  • 3-piece box design allows access without removing battery from box
  • Hard mounts battery to the frame with supplied 5/16" bolts
  • 2-piece molded adjustable battery hold-down
