Lithium Ion Phosphate is the newest of the battery technologies currently utilized in cell phones and compact handheld devices, and is known for its massive power to size ratio (specific energy) as well as rapid charge and discharge rates. The Lr series provides an ultra light weight solution for total loss (no alternator) race applications. The internal microprocessor and MOSFETs perform numerous tasks including monitoring,protection, regulation and output switching.The battery's 16 character display keeps the user informed of the system's status at all times. The Li series is designed for those using alternators. Fully monitored and protected, these batteries communicate their status through the control panel LEDs. All Powerpacks can be internally deactivated at the battery for extended life during the off season.
