Every engine needs air in order to breathe and run properly. Combined with fuel, the mixture is ignited in the combustion chamber, resulting in the power necessary to make your vehicle move. The air intake plays an important role for engine performance as it filters and directs incoming air to the throttle body. Aftermarket cold air intakes are designed to relocate the air inlet opening or filter to the best location (usually beside the radiator or front corner of engine bay, away from engine heat) that will allow cooler air to enter and reach the engine. Cooler air is denser than warm air and when combined with additional fuel creates more engine combustion and power.

When selecting a cold air intake, it's important to confirm the vehicle year, make, and model, as well as engine size along with any other options (turbocharged, 4x2, 4x4, etc.) that could affect fitment.
