I have 81 corvette 350cu 190hp, what will fit under the hood. Putting a Crate motor inn only a small block or will a 427.396 fit.

    Asked by: Little Zed
You will just have to use a very low profile intake manifold and air cleaner to get either engine to fit.

What is the correct part number for the harmonic balancer for the Blueprint 400 Chevy? I always thought the balanced assembly's had the harmonic balancer with the engine or the rotating assembly?

    Asked by: 1970SS
This is the balancer we recommend - Part Number: 555-51654 Blueprint balances the engine with a balancer then removes it before shipping.

Will this motor bolt right up in my 1965 chevelle? It currently has the stock 327 with Muncie M22. I was concerned about the bell housing and clutch swing arm for the throw-out bearing.

    Asked by: Bad Man
You will need to check the flywheel for proper fitment, but his should work for your application.

How much horsepower is this rated for? What are ring end gaps spaced at?

    Asked by: Scott C
This is a 460 HP engine. The ring end gaps are set by Blueprint and would be for a normally aspirated engine.
