These RPM roller camshafts are designed specifically to give performance engines good vacuum
at low rpm along with improved off-idle torque for better gas mileage potential. The camshaft profiles
feature Edelbrock proven Performer RPM roller design without excessive valve overlap and provide
great power in the 1,500-6,500 rpm range. The result is a camshaft that delivers increased
horsepower and broad torque, improved fuel economy and 13.5" of engine vacuum at idle. All of
these attributes deliver great performance, great drivability and plenty of vacuum for power brakes.

These Edelbrock camshafts are dyno matched to Edelbrock's Performer RPM Power Packages. They feature more aggressive profiles than conventional cams without excessive valve overlap and are intended for street high-performance and racing applications using OEM or Edelbrock hydraulic roller tappets. Roller tappets reduce friction, virtually eliminate break-in problems, and permit higher valve velocities for increased performance.
