    Top racers realize that using a low amp switch creates resistance and actually reduces power. Flaming River's heavy duty battery disconnect switch is top of the line designed for complex electrical systems and 16 Volt batteries.

    The lever kit allows for remote actuation of the Big Switch. The kit includes an 18" long, aluminum threaded rod, T-handle, mounting bracket and necessary hardware. A "push off" decal is included. Accepted for IHRA/NHRA competition use.

    Little Switch
    Rated at 100 amps continuous service and 500 amps for 10 second surges making it ideal for street rods, classics and passenger cars. In addition to preventing battery drain, this unique switch is also a cost effective anti-theft device. A rubber boot seals the neck from moisture and dirt. Competition approved by IMSA, ARCA, and SCCA.

    Big Switch
    Rated at 250 amps continuous service and 2500 amps for five second intervals, this switch is a spring-loaded, vibration resistant, waterproof design. Ideal for 16 volt use and is furnished with an easy-to-grip T-handle, anodized aluminum bracket and zinc plated mounting hardware. For race cars with magneto ignitions, #898-FR1010 will shut down the battery and magneto at the same time, as required by NHRA

    Heavy-Duty Switch
    Rated at 2500 amps/350 continuous amps making it ideal for Class 8 Trucks, RVs, Chippers and other construction vehicles. Clip on terminal covers are designed to protect against arcing. Propietary brass attaching nut allows 180° rotation.

    Combination Battery and Alternator Kill Switch
    Designed to completely shut down the battery and charging system in an emergency situation. Push Off for emergency shut-down and color-coded to indicate operating position- ON or OFF, with a durable spring-loaded design. Meets IHRA, NHRA and SCCA sanctioning body requirements.

    Dual Battery Disconnect Switch
    Allows for two batteries to operate independent of one another, or for both to be in the ON or OFF position at the same time. Rated at 300 Amps continuous service, and 1000 Amps for 5 second surges.

    Rated 2 out of 5 by from Okay but not great The same switch went bad on my race car and would shut off going down the track. Needless to say that doesn't make me very happy. I only replaced it with another one like it because it is so hard to make things fit on this show/race car and I really didn't feel like fighting it to make a change. HOWEVER, the arm that attaches to the switch to turn it on and off came with a small allen set screw that didn't go far enough in to the shaft. It fell out before I made 10 passes. My transmission shop found it and replaced it with a screw that would actually tighten in the hole and extended all the way through the hole so that the arm would stay on. I am not enamored with the design and execution of this product. It IS pretty and looks good during a car show but it's not very dependable for drag racing and that's what I do more of with this car.

    Rated 5 out of 5 by from very nice switch Have it mounted but not hooked up yet. But it looks like very good quality and bought this because it is highly recommended on a lot of racing sites
