Can also be used to convert 1955-67 canister style filter blocks to utilize a more common and leak free spin-on type filter. This type of installation will require a Fram PH30, AC-Delco PF25, Wix 51069 or equivalent with 13/16"-16 thread, 3.63" OD and outboard gasket filter (sold separately) in order to mate properly to that design of engine block
Cheap insurance for a new engine Replaces the old and worn out spin on oil filter mount on 1968-2000 SB-Chevy and 1968-1990 BB-Chevy during a rebuild or new build. Contains an OE type filter bypass valve. Includes mounting bolts and washers for easy installation.
