Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great power adder This kit is nothing short of amazing. It came with everything needed to convert my 1970 pickup into an EFI truck. It’s never ran better or sounded better.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Car seams to run better I installed this 2 weeks ago , only have a little over 100 miles it's still learning and so am I . I added the fuel damper , now just need to get the idle down a bit . It has gone crazy fast to insanely fast .

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Couldn't be happier I bought this to replace a carburetor on a 77 Thunderbird (400 engine) that i didn't want to mess with anymore, and it was the best choice I could have made, (over a new carburetor). It starts on hot days, and cold days and idles perfectly. There was a massive power increase that I never got with a carburetor. I have been using this car daily for work for almost a year now and has yet to let me down. All questions I had, the instructions answered. I have it set up as advertised, (non return style) and have had no issues other than it needs 92 octane or above or it doesn't run very well. I will be buying more of the atomic EFI setups for my other project cars. Even convinced my dad to get one he liked it so much!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So good I'm going to buy it twice I recently installed this unit on my 1962 GMC pickup with the original 305ci V6 engine. The kit installed so easily it was like it wanted to be there. After tinkering with the A/F Ratio settings and other parameters, my truck is running better than I thought it could. That old engine used to run out of steam around 60mph (probably because I could never get it tuned right with a carburetor) and now it cruises right up to 100mph before I even realize it. The kit is so good, I'm going to buy one for my 1968 Impala.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent system The atomic EFI system is excellent and I am very pleased at how easy it was to install.I just finished installing the system and it runs great. All I have left is to drive it and a few detailing items.I think I will be very happy once I am totally finished.I am already happy with the way it starts in cold weather. With a carburetor I had starting problems and I was not happy with it.Can't say enough about this system.Thanks.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Not quite finished, but soon! The only reason I don't give this a 5-star is because the information available when I was researching it differs somewhat from the details in the instructions. It wasn't until I started to do the installation that I found out the system needs either a return line, or an in-tank mounted fuel pump. I'm not doing either, and am hoping for the best. Engine is a basically stock Ford 390, so the demand is low. We'll see how it runs once the install is complete.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Atomic Replaced carb with the MSD Atomic ego. 350 engine runs really good now. 8 out of 10. Nice unit.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good product but pricey First let me say this is a well-made product easy setup plug and play system. That being said the major reason for buying this over the other competitor’s EFI systems is purely compatibility with the other MSD items I have on my truck. My 383 is street able @ a little over 500hp but if you’re thinking of building up from 650hp and over forget it. MSD will not handle it now but wait with technology changing they’ll build something to keep up. Again good made product but to pricey for the HP. Shop for the EFI that meets your needs there are less expensive ones. And I bought this from Jegs because SUM&^# customer service stinks.

I have an 82 K5 Blazer with full smog appliances (Cali Car). With this being a CARB legal kit, what can I eliminate off the manifold? Lots of vacuum hoses to the carb, EGR valve etc.

    Asked by: Mboom
If you want to remain California legal you would need to retain all those items

Plan on building a 5.3l ls engine and running the carb intake with msd controller box. I will have a 700r4 trans behind it and more than likely put it in a 92 chevy c 1500. I like the simple wiring and did not want to cut and splice wires all day.

    Asked by: 3Wood
Hello, If you are asking if this will work with that app, yes it will work with that 5.3.
