Diaphragm pressure plates work well for street/strip applications, featuring maximum clamp load with minimum pedal effort. Borg & Beck pressure plates are the original OEM design but with McLeod's additional holding power in higher horsepower applications. Series 100 discs are a great upgrade from stock. They offer great holding power and smooth engagement for street, towing or hauling applications. Series 800 discs or dual performance disk are for street/strip vehicles. They use surface square inch and lbs. per square inch for maximum holding ability and positive engagement.
