Recommended Oil Pump Pickup: Stock Oil Pumps, Moroso BBC Race Pump Nos 710-22150/22160/22162. Use Pickup No 710-24440.

Features:

Fits Big Block Chevy engines (except Gen V and Gen VI) in most chassis except 1962-67 Chevy II, V8 Vega/Monza, and 1955-57 Chevy

Kicked-out sump moves oil level away from rotating assembly, increases capacity to 6 quarts, and provides additional ground clearance

Trap-door baffling allows oil to flow "one way" into the pickup area - and keeps it there

Notched pan rails accept strokes up to 4.250" with steel rods, 4.090" with aluminum rods

Works with most starter/flywheel combinations

Application: All BB-Chevy wet sump engines (except Gen V and Gen VI) in most chassis except 62-67 Chevy II, V8 Vega/Monza, Chevelle with steering linkage behind the crossmember and 55-57 Chevy.

Features: Kicked-out sump design for increased oil capacity (6 quart). 8'' deep for maximum ground clearance. Swinging trap door keeps oil in the pickup area and specially designed pickup keeps pressure fluctuation to a minimum. Accepts strokes up to 4.250'' w/ steel rods (4.090'' w/ aluminum rods).

Recommended oil pump - Stock oil pumps or Moroso BBC race pump P/N 710-22150 (Std.. volume race), 710-22160 (High volume race), 710-22162 (Blueprinted high volume) - Pickup P/N 710-24440

Note : Moroso is currently switching their oil pans from a painted finish to a clear zinc finish. Once painted pan inventory is diminished all pans will feature the new clear zinc finish.
