The two lighter gauge pressure springs apply higher clamp pressure with less pedal effort than equivalent pressure single springs. Our proprietary friction material allows a thicker disc cross section that is better able to withstand high load and heat situations. In addition, the formulation of the friction material is smoother on engagement and easier to drive. The RAM 7.25 is a direct bolt in replacement for most other 7 1/4 inch clutches.
