The stock wastegate actuator will prematurely blow off the seat when turbo backpressure increases. The Banks BigHead Wastegate Actuator features twice the diaphragm area and spring pressure of the stock wastegate, which allows it to keep the valve seated longer and achieving a higher peak boost, sooner. The BigHead holds its position at peak, giving crisp acceleration and more mid-range pulling power.
