Eagle Specialty Products SIR Connecting Rods are an economically priced alternative to the time and expense involved in reworking OE connecting rods. SIR connecting rods are forged from 5140 steel and most are available for both press fit or bushed for floating pins. ARP 8740 capscrew bolts are used in all Eagle SIR connecting rods. Critical big end sizing is controlled using in-house CNC equipment. SIR Connecting Rods offer up to 50% increase in strength over stock connecting rods. All rods are weight matched in sets +/-2 g. SIR I-Beam rods are rated for small block (500 HP) and big block (700 HP). SIR I-Beam rods are the perfect choice for Pro-Street, IMCA, and classes requiring a stock appearing rod. 8/pkg.
