QA1 ''R'' Series Drag Racing Kits are designed to transform your stock GM front end into an extremely efficient drag race system. This easy, bolt-in kit requires minimal modifications and works by replacing the factory shocks and springs with the QA1 ''R'' Series Pro Coil System. The shocks feature firm compression and a wide range of rebound. The conical springs are designed so the lower end sets on the coil-over shock and the upper end sets in the original spring bucket. This allows for the use of a longer and lighter spring which translates into better weight transfer. Also the ride height is adjustable by use of the aluminum threaded body of the coil-over.
