Will this work in a 1995 hmm 1500 pickup

    Asked by: Tommyboypontiac
No this engine has the wrong heads and is built with a carb, instead of the TBI injection the truck came with. We do offer HP31 a 350ci 290hp engine that will work in that truck with headers and custom chip.

What's your recommendation for a reasonable performance transmission, and converter that I can marry up with this engine?

    Asked by: Jesse22
Transmission would depend upon your preference between a 2,3 or 4-speed auto. Converter would need to be in the 2400-2600 range depending on vehicle weight , rear gear ratio and rear tire diameter
