Rated 4 out of 5 by from Pretty good lil pump.. Installed pump in a S10v8 swap.. Pump didn't use stock plug so had to wire it up but it did fit in the hanger assembly.. Had to use a larger amp fuse, blew the stock one..truck does seem to haul azz a bit more too..just ask those new Mustangs and Camaro's

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Huge disappointment Apparently, I must give at least a one star rating, which is TOO GENEROUS!!! I bought this pump in June of 2017. I finally got around to installing it on 10/15/17. It quit two weeks later. I wish I had researched more reviews before I bought it. I definitely will not try another Aeromotive fuel pump again.

How much more current will this pump draw than the stock pump? Will it cause increased heat in existing wiring and relays? I have a 1988 Trans Am with a Stealthram and 36 lb injectors with 54 psi fuel pressure. Will this support 550 hp?

    Asked by: CJW2
Thanks for the question. Yes this pump will support 550 hp. The amp draw at that pressure will be higher than the factory pump so yes there will be a need to upgrade the wiring.

putting a 5.3 vortec in a 91 blazer-this pump is a direct replacement for the stock pump right? and also I was thinking about using this pump with the ac delco gf822k filter/regulator? is this combo ok for a stock 5.3?

    Asked by: boon
The pump will work in your application, but the regulator filter will not work.
