Can this motor be ordered with gm hot cam pre installed? My old motor had cam and computer is already tuned for it

    Asked by: Tcarter31
Unfortunately at this point in time we do not have the option to change any of the internal components on any of our engines, how you see this engine listed on the website is how it will ship from our facility.

Is there a short block version of this exact model with the pin driven?

    Asked by: Absolutezero2382
This is actually the only engine that we currently offer that would work in this year range and use a pin driven distributor.

Can Blueprint make a 383 or 396 version of this engine or do they already have one I just have to call and ask?

    Asked by: CjWallace
At this point in time we do not have the option or ability to build this engine in a larger cubic inch and it still be compatible with your factory computer system.

I have this block in garage but misplaced the main caps. Is the block garbage or can I use different front and back journals. Was gonna machine for 4 bolt the middle three but if it’s not worth it this is a good price for a 4 bolt main straight.

    Asked by: CJWallace
If you have lost all of the main caps for this engine it will need to go to a machine shop first to be line honed and squared before it could be built back up.

Is this the same as the LT1 that will go in a 1996 Chevy Impala/ Caprice?

    Asked by: Anthsim
When used with the OEM accessories this engine should fit your Caprice.
