Will these springs install into stock gen 1 sbc heads without machine work? And does the cam need the 'button' on the timing cover to keep it in place?

Asked by: Dustin79
The springs in the Comp 249-K12-423-8 cam kit will not be a direct fit without machine work. The cam will require a cam button.
