Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good Aluminum Radiator Good quality radiator for the price. Replaced my old copper/brass with the 3 row and my truck stays much cooler now. I had to re-thread my old heater hose fitting to metric, but other than that everything fit perfectly.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fixed my cooling issues After replacing the entire cooling system, my truck still overheated at highway speed, so I bit the bullet and bought the radiator. I debated between the 3 and 4 core for a while, but decided that with my application, I wouldn’t need the 4 core. The 3 core was easy to drop in, way lighter than the old brass model, and fit nearly perfect. I had to carefully pry the plastic/rubber mounting bushings from my old rad and reuse them. Had they been totally worn out, I’m not sure what I would have done. I think champion or jegs should include some new ones. Also, the fan shroud holes don’t line up just right, but a little bit of brute force fixed that problem. The final issue with the install is just a small appearance preference; the overflow hose doesn’t fit through the hole on the corner. But this radiator performs excellently. Running 75 down the highway, idling in 90° heat, hauling 2 tons up the interstate, the needle never wavered. Should have bought it a month sooner.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Staying Cool I bought this radiator to replace the old copper/brass radiator, in my '87 F-250 with the 6.9 IDI, that had served it's time. The fit was good, I did need to open the mounting holes up on my original fan shroud a little bit. I had to re-use the rubber insulators from my old radiator because this one did not come with them. All in all I am very pleased with my purchase from Jeg's. I did have an issue with the first radiator, it showed up with some damage to the core and fins, but was easily resolved by calling in and explaining what was wrong.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good Choice! I purchased the radiator a couple of weeks ago (March 2020) and it arrived earlier than expected with no visual physical damage. I installed this on a 1989 Ford F250 and the mounting holes and brackets for the lower mounting studs were aligned properly. I removed the rubber mounting pads from the old radiator and installed then in the lower mounting brackets on the new radiator. I suggest that you check the fit of the existing cooling fan shroud prior to installing the radiator. The holes in the shroud had to be slightly elongated to match the holes in the radiator bracket. This was easy because the shroud is made of a plastic type synthetic material. It is easier to do with the radiator off the truck. Upper/Lower radiator hose fit good and the brass drain petcock was in good shape and opened and closed ok. I have a 5 speed so no additional connections were required for transmission cooling lines. I left the fitting capped but the manufacturer did supply 2 brass threaded fittings with barb connections on one end. My old radiator was made out of copper/steel and weighed about twice as much as the new one. The new one was easy to install and the heat transfer seems to be good according to the temperature gauge. All is good so far.
