This Dart 126422 SHP Series Aluminum Cylinder Head is a redesigned and improved version of the original SHP series 127422 head, and it delivers power increases at a budget-friendly price. Enhanced features include raised ports, dense aluminum alloy construction using proprietary permanent molds resulting in smooth as-cast intake runners, exhaust runners, and combustion chamber.
Dart 126422 Features:
- Fully assembled with valve springs, steel 10° retainers, Viton valve seals, hardened valve spring cups, 3/8 in. rocker arm studs, and adjustable guide plates included
- Valve springs with 1.437” OD dual springs for use with max .650”lift Hydraulic Roller or Solid Flat Tappet camshafts
- Revised, exceptionally smooth as-cast 200cc intake runner design to provide optimum power gains
- Exceptionally smooth 72cc combustion chamber
- Manley stainless steel 2.02 in. intake and 1.60 in. exhaust valves
- Powdered metal valve seats with multi-angle valve job
- Magnesium-bronze valve guides with .530 in. Viton valve seals
- Manufactured using an exclusive process using permanent molds
- Straight spark plug angle uses a 14mm .750 in. reach spark plug such as Autolite AR3934 (sold separately) or equivalent
