    Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome features Bought this Street Demon Carb two weeks ago to replace my old Edelbrock 1406. The street demon looked awesome right out of the box. Installed it in my 69 C20 with 5.3 LS1 hot cam. Insulation was easy, it came with everything I needed to hook up to my 4L60 trans, turned the key, fired right up..., This carb made my motor sound and run awesome... I will be purchasing another one for my other trucks... Thank you Holley for making a awesome and affordable carburetor...... #shopjegs..

I bought this carburetor to replace a newly rebuilt Quadra jet the difference is night and day the street demon 625 really woke my Chevy 350 up highly recommend this car I bolted it on adjusted it a bit with a vacuum gauge and it runs amazing!

    Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very Impressed I read every review and watched every Youtube video on this carb before buying. It appeared to be the way to go from what everyone was saying. It was to replace the Edelbrock 650 on my SBC in my 47' Ford Coupe. The only mods done to this motor are headers and a Edelbrock Aluminum intake. With the Edelbrock carb, i was getting extremely hard cold starts, flooded out warm starts, huge dropouts in the acceleration, constant smoking out the tailpipe, and horrible fuel mileage. The Demon came with everything I needed to install, the only I went to the parts store for was a clear, inline fuel filter, and new vac lines. My Edelbrock Air filter base fit on the carb with some minor tweaking. Once the carb was installed, i bumped the electric fuel pump about 5 or 6 times like the instructions said and hit the key, it took about 2 pumps of the accelerator and she fired and idled perfectly. The only adjustments I made to the carb was setting the idle to about 900 RPM at operating temp. Cold starts have now gone from pumping the pedal 15 or 16 times to twice, hot starts have gone from flooding and holding the pedal to the floor to get started to 2-3 seconds of cranking and starting. The smoking out the tailpipe has more than cut in half, the throttle response is tight, crisp and way more fun. While I havent actually checked the mileage, I can tell its getting better just from fillups. The 4-barrels open on demand with no dropouts in acceleration. This carb has improved the driveability of my car 10 fold!! I did not tell the wife I was swapping carbs and her first comment was " why is the car so much quieter and doesn't stink as bad?" (I'm assuming the quieter part comes from the fact that I was able to set the idle lower) This is now my go to carb, I am ordering another one for my 68' GTO and selling the 650 dbl pumper on CL. I dont normally write reviews but was so impressed with my results that I felt compelled to let other people know as I was very hesitant before I bought.

Crisp smooth throttle response...I did loose some power switching from a street avenger. But with the reliability and no tinker time...who cares! Great carb you won't be disappointed!

    Rated 5 out of 5 by from Really impressed. Read the reviews and wanted to believe them but have gone through the pain of dialing in a few Hollys and was a bit skeptical. I replaced a carb that I knew was too big on a 302 in a Bronco that was supposed to be from a performance Mustang. The 625 cfm was plenty. Real mellow. No loss in power and most surprising of all the only "tuning" I had to do was turn the idle screw out nearly a turn to get it where I wanted it for the manual transmission. If I was running an automatic I might have literally been able to run it untouched. Played with the air fuel and couldn't improve on what I already had. Nice piece and on a budget price! Really made me think. Will probably buy two more to simply my life on a couple more projects. Simple is good when you get older.

I really like how easy it installed" make sure you buy the special demon throttle bracket" adjustments were very simply and it runs so smooth all the way across the rpm range. The updated bowl design eliminates the chance for fuel leaks!

    This carburetor needs a square flange intake, your 82 van probably has a quadrajet intake so you will need this adapter. https://www.jegs.com/i/JEGS-Performance-Products/555/15440/10002/-1
