High Amperage Adjustable Electric Fan Controllers

Replacement Temp Probe 259-16753 requires adapter 259-16737

Designed with quality and performance in mind, this High Amperage Dual Fan Controller breaks new ground in the industry of electric fan controllers. 100% USA made, a bulletproof design, 35 amp per fan amperage rating, adjustability from 150°-240°F, and a die cast bright finish aluminum cap, come together to make this dual fan controller stand out from the crowd. It's capable of controlling two separate 35 amp fans at different turn-on temperatures, with only a single probe. The first electric fan will be activated at the temperature set by the user followed by the second electric fan when the temperature becomes 10°F warmer. Each electric fan will turn off at 10°F below its turn-on temperature. Kit comes complete with wiring harness, fusible link, all necessary electrical connectors and 3/8" NPT thread-in probe.

    16789 is rated 2.2 out of 5 by 5.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Worked as described Implementation took a couple of hours. My only issue was the water temp sensor. Sensor wire was a bit short so it made mounting location limited. You have to be careful in mounting the sensor. The wires twist as you thread the sensor. You can break the wires at the sensor. The unit works as advertised. Would recommend the unit.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Duel fan controler Advertised as a duel fan controler but will only run one fan second fan will not kick on, had to buy another relay for fan #2. And it works.. If you want a duel fan controler this isn't it

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Don't waste your money Will only run one fan. Won't run the second and manufacture technical support is useless.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Doesn't work I spent the whole day installing the dual fans and this controller, making sure I did the best wiring job. When I ran the engine the first time it got clear up to 225 degrees and the fans wouldn't turn on. The only way I can get the fans to work is to wire it with a manual switch.

How waterproof is the control unit. I want to use this for a street truck application with minimum offroading. Will it survive a basic car wash as long there is no direct water blast on it?

    Asked by: Pappi
Yes, this will work in most environments without any issues.
