Eagle Specialty Products SIR Connecting Rods are an economically priced alternative to the time and expense involved in reworking OE connecting rods. SIR connecting rods are forged from 5140 steel with up to 50 percent increase in strength over stock rods. All rods are weight matched in sets +/-2 grams and most are available for both press-fit or bushed for floating pins. ARP 8740 capscrew bolts are used in all Eagle SIR connecting rods.
