Rated 1 out of 5 by from Uses Helio-Coil Inserts In Rocker Arm Stud Mounts The helio-coil inserts that are factory installed in the rocker arm stud mounts (as well as everywhere else) will come out and damage your rocker arms,, rocker arm shaft, and other parts. Over $300 worth of damage, no vehicle I have contacted Edelbrock, and still working on resolving issue, however, I have been accused of installation error by me when this is not true. I installed the parts to every dot in every eye. I used the recommended rocker arm studs. Torqued correctly and all. But to cover themselves and their own liability, they accuse me of installing it wrong. JBWeld and new helio-coils wont fix it. This product should have been installed with Time-Serts, but Edelbrock uses the cheap way with helio-coils. Also, in fine print, after you get the product, it will say recommended to use adjustable rocker arms. This should have said required in bold print on the Jegs page. If you have the original steel heads of your vehicle, best to just rebuild those, do not get Edelbrock aluminum heads. I really wish I still had the original heads right now.

What kind of header bolts should be used with this application.

    Asked by: Caleb13
Any standard header bolt will work, the length will depend on the thickness of the header flange. We do recommend using an anti seize lubricant like - https://www.jegs.com/i/JEGS-Performance-Products/555/28005/10002/-1
